国産ひのき（檜・桧）は、日本の風土と気候の中で育っているため、日本の住宅環境に適した木材です。併せて、日本産の木材を使うことで地域の活性化や森林を守ることにつながります。

＜国産紀州ひのき（檜・桧）とは＞
当社が使用する地元の紀州ひのき（檜・桧）は、1000年以上前から建築材に使われてきた歴史があります。木目や色合いが良いだけでなく、曲げや伸び、圧縮などに非常に強いことが和歌山県の実験により証明されいる、質の高いひのきです。

◎国産紀州ひのき（檜・桧）から作られる木材
国産杉と比べて国産のひのき（檜・桧）は成長が遅いため年輪が多いことから、緻密で香りが良く、防虫効果が高い特徴があります。またしっかりした強度も持っているため建築材としても大変良く、人気の高い木材です。

＜無垢材とは＞
山から切り出した木を、そのまま必要なサイズに切り出した木材。集成材のように接着や圧縮などの加工をしていないため、最も自然の木を感じることが出来る木材です。
