一般的な壁・天井材よりも厚みのある天然素材の幅はぎ材を使用することによって、深い溝の加工によって印象的で心地よい陰影を表現します。また、自然の木が持つ優しい肌触りとともに、重厚感と高級感を併せ持っています。

【国産杉について】
国産の杉は、日本の風土と気候の中で育っているため、日本の住宅環境に適した木材です。併せて、日本産の木材を使うことで地域の活性化や森林を守ることにつながります。

当社が使用する地元の紀州杉は、1000年以上前から建築材に使われてきた歴史があります。木目や色合いが良いだけでなく、曲げや伸び、圧縮などに非常に強いことが和歌山県の実験により証明されいる、質の高い杉です。

◎国産杉から作られる木材
くっきりとした木目があり、空気を多く含むため柔らかく、温もりを感じる肌触りが特徴です。また森林浴のような爽やかなアロマによるリラックス効果も人気です。

＜幅はぎ材とは＞
木の丸太から切り取った板材を、（【長さ】X「幅」X 【厚み】の）【長さ】X【厚み】の面を繋げて幅を広げた木材。自然に木が感じられる、高級感のある無垢材に近いことから、よく目にする場所で使うテーブルやカウンターや壁・天井材などに使われています。
